I need to purge, purge, and purge some more... I need to get rid of a lot of stuff. A lot of fabric, whatnot's, and misc. bull crap that's blocking my energy, you know what I mean out with the old in with the new. In all honesty I don't even know what "new" I mean. I simply know I need a fresh approach, a breeze of air, a reviving of my creative passion.

I’se in the studio…

Yippee, I'm at the studio! Okay perhaps my enthusiasm is little on the sarcastic side but at least I'se here and wonderful things can happen at any moment now. Waiting…waiting… Okay maybe today's not a good fashion sewing day. I did design some new pillows today inspired by the carnival masks in Venice and of course I couldn't stop there so I designed a room with a view to show them in. Hey what can I say it's all creating and when it's all said and done that's all that matters right? (my VC pillows will be available mid October at my etsy site!)

1 missing mojo...

Has anyone seen my MOJO, it's about 5'6, very artsy looking, and obviously seeking a legal separation from me. If you find it please forward, I do so miss my mojo (she/its been gone so long.)

On a good note I went by the studio today, noooo I don't have it like that my studio is not in some lofty, artsy warehouse district, it's in my mom's sun room. I decided to move my studio to my moms to be there more often to help out now that she's getting older (BIG MISTAKE), but this is what we do for our moms (God bless her, she's my rock) . It's a very nice space it just doesn't work 4 me, anyway moving on ... I actually pulled a few pcs. of fabric and did a few sketches. I'm posting the sketches and I'll update my progress. (I'm trying mojo puhlease come back to me)

I love butterflies so why not appliqued black butterflies on a soft wool crepe with black lace accents. Very artsy, very gypsy, very me...

A little crazed right now...

Okay not necessarily a good way to start but here goes...I haven't sewn anything lately so I'm a little crazed, I mean true I've been creating things (like this new blog spot) that's better than nothing, but i can't seem to how can i put it ummm SEWWWW and I really need some fall clothes. Fall is my favorite season and every year I plan to have my wardrobe ready early and it never happens. WHYYY!
Truth is I don't like my new studio. I keep changing things around but to no avail. I work for a minute and then I'm hating my space again or at least that's where I'm hanging the blame for now (heaven forbid I own up to being a PQ, procrastination Queen).

Anywho off into the land of sewing blog I go, wish me luck...
